As the Owner and Marketing & Operations Executive at Houghton Financial Partners, I first got the idea to launch the firm as an insurance agency in 1975. Since then, I have built it into a comprehensive financial services firm with experienced professionals that can assist clients in working towards their financial goals. I listen closely to the information and objectives each client shares and use what I learn to build the framework of a plan designed to help fit the specific needs of each client.
I have served in the financial services industry for over 47 years and I attended the University of Texas at El Paso. I am inspired by helping people plan their future and solving problems for them in a unique, personalized way. I enjoy designing and creating options for clients, and I specialize in executive benefits in particular. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, running, and biking My wife and I have 5 children and 14 grandchildren that we love spending our free time with.
